Refund Policy

1. General

Lightnet manufactures and supplies professional project lighting and LED luminaires primarily for commercial, retail, and industrial applications. Due to the nature of our products, refunds are subject to the conditions outlined below.

2. Standard Products

Refunds on standard, non-custom products may be considered if:

  • The product is unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging

  • The refund request is submitted within 7 days of delivery

  • Proof of purchase is provided

Approved refunds may be subject to a handling or restocking fee, and original delivery costs are non-refundable.

3. Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Lightnet manufactures many products to project-specific requirements, including but not limited to:

  • Custom lengths, lumen outputs, colours, or finishes

  • Project-specific drivers, optics, or configurations

Custom or made-to-order products are non-refundable, unless the product is proven to be defective or incorrectly supplied by Lightnet.

4. Incorrect Orders

Lightnet is not responsible for refunds where:

  • Incorrect products were ordered by the client

  • Products were specified incorrectly by third parties

  • Installation or application differs from the original order

Clients are encouraged to verify all specifications before order confirmation.

5. Defective Products

If a product is found to be defective:

  • The issue must be reported within 7 days of delivery

  • Lightnet will assess the product in line with its warranty policy

  • Where applicable, Lightnet may offer repair, replacement, or refund at its discretion

Defects resulting from incorrect installation, misuse, environmental exposure outside product ratings, or unauthorised modifications are excluded.

6. Returns Process

All returns must be:

  • Approved in writing by Lightnet prior to return

  • Returned in original condition and packaging

  • Accompanied by a return reference number

Unauthorised returns may be refused.

7. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method where possible or a credit will be allocated to the account. Processing times may vary depending on payment provider and internal approval procedures.
